Good defense in garbage time
Wallace saw the bulk of his production come in fourth-quarter garbage time during the blowout loss. Undrafted in 2021, the rookie out of UTSA is on a two-way deal with the Hawks and is getting some extra burn as the team deals with injuries. Despite the situation in which he racked up Monday's numbers, his active defense was encouraging and may be worth noting as Trae Young (ribs) left the game. If Young misses any time, Wallace could be in line for even more action.

Stuffs stat sheet once again
Johnson didn't have his best performance from an efficiency perspective, but that won't matter much if he continues to deliver the same numbers he's been posting over the first two weeks of the regular season. Johnson could be in line for a sizable uptick in usage in case Trae Young (ribs) is forced to miss time, but even if that's not the case, his role as a primary offensive weapon in Atlanta is set in stone. Through eight contests, Johnson is averaging 18.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Struggles massively Monday
Capela had another woeful showing, and it's fair to wonder for how long he'll remain in the starting unit, as Onyeka Okongwu has outplayed him almost in every game this season. Capela has had a few decent performances this season, but he only has one double-double through eight appearances while averaging a modest 8.9 points and 6.5 rebounds across 22.5 minutes per game in a starting role.

Efficient despite loss Monday
Okongwu continues to find ways to outplay Clint Capela on a steady basis, and at this point, it wouldn't be surprising if he claims the starting role at center sooner rather than later. Okongwu is averaging 13.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.7 blocks across 23.8 minutes per contest in his six outings to date, so fantasy managers should continue to trust him even if he continues to play off the bench for the time being.

Won't come back Monday
Young struggled to find his stride before leaving the game with a rib injury in the third quarter. It is unclear whether the All-Star will miss additional time, though Atlanta was getting blown out and there was seemingly no point in the star point guard playing through the injury.
