Struggles in Game 7
Adams had a strong series overall, but couldn't make a significant impact Sunday with the Rockets attempting to utilize a frontcourt-heavy rotation. Adams was used sparingly in the regular season, playing an average of 13.7 minutes per night in 58 appearances with 3.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Adams is likely to generate considerable interest from contending teams as a free agent this offseason.

Struggles in loss
After a strong 24-point performance in Game 5, Brooks couldn't figure out how to get back on track offensively in the final two games of the series, failing to crack double-digits. The Oregon product ended his season, averaging 12.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in the first round, shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from deep.

Fails to crack rotation
Signed to a three-year, $5.25 million contract with the Rockets in March of 2025, Williams played a total of five minutes in the postseason. Williams made 20 appearances during the regular season, playing 7.4 minutes per night while averaging 3.3 points on 43.5 percent shooting. However, he was a standout in the G League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, posting averages of 17.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals.

After struggling offensively at times during the last stretch of the regular season, VanVleet kicked it into high gear during this first-round series. However, following three straight performances in which he scored 25 points or more, the Wichita State product failed to crack the 20-point mark in Game 7. The veteran guard's season ends, averaging 18.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game in this series, shooting 43 percent from the floor and 43.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Holiday was used sparingly during the postseason, appearing in three games with an average of 9.0 minutes. He wasn't much more involved during the regular season, playing 12.8 minutes per game across 62 appearances with 5.5 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists on 43.7 percent shooting. The Rockets hold a $4.9 million team option on Holiday for the 2025-26 season.
